D I
Major collegiate athletic powers, with larger budgets, more elaborate facilities, and higher numbers of athletic scholarships. Each of the 285 Division I baseball teams can offer 11.8 scholarships. Each of the 230 Division II teams can offer 9.0 scholarships. None of the 360 Division III baseball teams can offer athletic scholarships, but it's common for them to offer non-baseball-related financial aid packages to baseball players the coach wants to recruit.
